SkillDzire Online Proctored Examination
Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to examinations conducted by SkillDzire through its online examination and proctoring platform. By proceeding to the examination, the candidate confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the applicable examination guidelines.
1. Examination Eligibility and Device Requirements
- The examination must be attempted only by the candidate registered for the examination.
- The candidate must use a laptop or desktop computer that meets the technical requirements specified in the SkillDzire Examination Guidelines as the primary examination device.
- Where dual-device proctoring is applicable, the candidate must use a mobile phone as the secondary proctoring device.
- The candidate must complete all required system, camera, microphone, internet and proctoring checks before starting the examination.
- Safe Exam Browser (SEB) or other examination software specified by SkillDzire must be installed and used as instructed.
- The candidate is responsible for ensuring that their devices, internet connection, power supply and examination environment meet the prescribed requirements.
2. Identity Verification
- The candidate must provide accurate and valid identification information.
- The candidate must personally attend and complete the examination.
- Allowing another person to take the examination on the candidate's behalf is strictly prohibited.
- The candidate may be required to complete identity verification before or during the examination.
3. Proctoring and Monitoring
The candidate understands and agrees that the examination may be monitored and recorded using appropriate technology, including:
- Laptop/desktop camera
- Mobile/auxiliary camera
- Microphone/audio
- Screen activity or screen recording
- Safe Exam Browser
- Examination activity and system events
- Device and technical information
- Automated proctoring and integrity checks
The purpose of such monitoring is to maintain examination integrity, verify compliance with examination requirements, investigate examination irregularities and support the examination and evaluation process.
4. Mobile Phone / Auxiliary Camera
Where dual-device proctoring is required:
- The mobile phone must remain connected throughout the examination.
- The mobile camera must remain active as instructed.
- The mobile phone must be positioned so that the required view of the candidate, laptop/desktop and relevant surroundings is visible.
- The candidate must not intentionally move, cover, disconnect or obstruct the auxiliary camera.
- The mobile phone must not be used for communication, browsing or accessing unauthorized material during the examination.
- Any interruption to the auxiliary-camera connection should be addressed according to the technical instructions provided by SkillDzire.
5. Examination Environment
The candidate must:
- Attend the examination from a suitable, quiet and adequately lit location.
- Remain appropriately visible to the required camera(s).
- Ensure that no unauthorized person assists or communicates with them.
- Keep unauthorized materials and devices away from the examination environment.
- Follow all examination and proctoring instructions provided by SkillDzire and the University.
- Ensure that the examination environment meets any additional requirements specified in the Examination Guidelines.
6. Prohibited Activities
Unless specifically permitted by the examination requirements, candidates must not:
- Use unauthorized websites, applications or software.
- Use AI tools or external assistance.
- Communicate with another person during the examination.
- Use unauthorized electronic devices or other equipment.
- Copy, photograph, screenshot, record or distribute examination questions or content.
- Attempt to bypass or disable Safe Exam Browser or other examination security controls.
- Attempt to manipulate, interfere with or bypass the proctoring system.
- Allow another person to participate in the examination.
- Share examination credentials, links, tokens or access information.
- Engage in any activity intended to obtain an unfair advantage.
7. Automated Proctoring and System Alerts
SkillDzire may use automated technologies through its proctoring platform to identify technical events, unusual activity or potential examination irregularities.
Automated proctoring technologies are not infallible and may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete or inconclusive alerts.
An automated alert, detection, confidence score, trust score or technical event does not, by itself, constitute a final determination of academic misconduct.
Automated events and alerts may be considered together with other available examination evidence and technical records during the review process.
8. Examination Authority and Human Review
SkillDzire is the final authority for the conduct, evaluation, validation and final outcome of the SkillDzire examination.
All examinations are subject to human review by SkillDzire before the final examination score/result is published.
Proctoring alerts, automated detections, technical events and system-generated scores are considered as part of the review process and are not, by themselves, treated as the final determination.
If a candidate has any query, concern, dispute or request for review regarding the examination, proctoring, technical issues, evaluation or published result, the matter may be raised through the applicable examination review process communicated by SkillDzire.
SkillDzire's decision following the applicable review process shall be final with respect to the SkillDzire examination.
9. Technical Problems
The candidate understands that technical problems may occur, including:
- Internet disconnection
- Camera failure
- Microphone failure
- Mobile-camera disconnection
- Screen-recording interruption
- SEB/browser interruption
- Device failure
- Power failure
- Other technical issues
The candidate must follow the technical-support instructions provided by SkillDzire.
A technical event will not automatically be treated as academic misconduct . The circumstances and available technical records may be considered during the examination review process.
The candidate should report significant technical problems through the prescribed support process as soon as reasonably possible.
10. Examination Submission and Time Limit
- The candidate is responsible for completing and submitting the examination within the permitted examination time.
- The examination may automatically submit when the allotted time expires, where such functionality is enabled.
- Answers successfully recorded by the examination system may be used for evaluation.
- The candidate must follow the prescribed submission procedure.
- The candidate must not intentionally interfere with the examination system or submission process.
11. Examination Integrity
Candidates must comply with the applicable SkillDzire examination rules, academic-integrity requirements and University examination requirements.
Any suspected examination irregularity may be documented and reviewed by SkillDzire.
Where necessary, SkillDzire may consider:
- Proctoring recordings
- Camera footage
- Screen recordings
- Audio, where applicable
- Automated alerts
- Technical/system logs
- Examination activity
- Candidate responses
- Other relevant examination evidence
Any examination-related consequence will be determined in accordance with the applicable examination rules and the review process.
12. Privacy and Proctoring
SkillDzire may collect and process examination and proctoring information for purposes including examination administration, evaluation, examination integrity, security, technical support, human review and dispute resolution.
Depending on the examination configuration, this may include information such as identity information, examination responses, camera/video recordings, mobile-camera recordings, audio, screen activity or recordings, device and technical information, IP/network information, examination events and system logs.
The candidate acknowledges that the collection and processing of such information is necessary for the administration and security of the online examination, subject to the applicable privacy requirements and policies of SkillDzire and the relevant University.
Information may be accessed by authorized personnel involved in examination administration, evaluation, human review, technical support, examination integrity and University examination coordination, as applicable.
Examination and proctoring information may be retained for the period necessary for examination administration, evaluation, human review, re-evaluation, dispute resolution and applicable compliance requirements.
SkillDzire will apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect examination and proctoring information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse.
13. Examination Guidelines
The candidate must comply with the applicable SkillDzire examination guidelines, including requirements relating to examination preparation, devices, Safe Exam Browser, cameras, mobile/auxiliary proctoring, examination environment and technical requirements.

14. Student Responsibilities
The candidate is responsible for:
- Reading and understanding the examination instructions before starting.
- Completing all required system and proctoring checks.
- Ensuring suitable internet, power and device conditions.
- Correctly positioning the mobile device where required.
- Following all examination instructions.
- Reporting genuine technical problems promptly.
- Maintaining examination integrity.
- Keeping examination credentials and access information confidential.
- Ensuring that no unauthorized person assists them during the examination.
15. Student Acknowledgement
By proceeding to the examination, the candidate confirms that they:
- Have read and understood these SkillDzire Online Proctored Examination Terms & Conditions .
- Have reviewed the applicable Grand Assessment Guidelines.
- Understand that the examination may be monitored and recorded using applicable proctoring technologies.
- Understand that automated proctoring systems are not infallible and may produce inaccurate, incomplete or inconclusive alerts.
- Understand that automated alerts and system-generated events are subject to human review and do not, by themselves, constitute a final determination of academic misconduct.
- Understand that SkillDzire is the final authority for the conduct, evaluation, validation and final outcome of the SkillDzire examination and that all examinations are subject to human review before the final examination score/result is published.
- Understand that examination-related concerns or requests for review may be raised through the applicable examination review process communicated by SkillDzire.
- Agree to comply with all applicable examination, academic-integrity, proctoring and technical requirements.
